We're Lunch

We're Lunch
                                 by Genki

Each should pay our debt, or die
Assert paragons of wealth
Joe Peon fails to comply
Outmaneuvered, lamed in stealth

As bossman takes his pounds of flesh
His lawyers drain the blood
His busboys keep the silver fresh
Our scraps lie in the mud

The well-endowed grab all the gold
And stand upon the slow
Rich whims are instantly bankrolled
We slaves inherit "no"
